Ryder Cup 2010 VIP Event

Working with the Newport City Council team, we helped deliver a series of highly successful hospitality events associated with the 2010 Ryder Cup.

 

Newport had the opportunity to raise its national and international profile and get across its message that this part of Wales is open for business – and it took that opportunity with both hands.

 

We played key roles in inviting selected VIPs to one of a number of days at the golf itself, and to a prestigious gala dinner for 40 at Celtic Manor – including top politicians and business leaders. This involved establishing a series of tiered invitation lists, preparing and issuing promotional materials, hiring entertainment and managing the delegate responses.

 

The teamwork between ourselves and Newport ensured that the event was seamlessly organised and managed – using the available resources to the full and maximising a tight budget.
