Ironman Wales 2011

With winds of up to 70 miles an hour of from the edge of the Atlantic travelling ‘hurricane Catia’ the Genesis team placed and maintained Corex lamp post banners, wall drops, a 15m x 5m beach banner, feather flags and more for the Ironman Wales 2011 event.

 

Driving into Tenby and Saundersfoot through to the transition area of the famous 3.8km Swim, 180km Cycle and 42.1km Run, West Wales the film crews, spectators and competitors were surrounded by the Welsh Government sponsor branded ‘why Visit Wales’ messages.

 

Although the wind was up, so was the sponsor brand and although none of the Genesis team entered Ironman this year they say they felt as if they had!

 

Lets hope for better weather next year
