Cardiff Festival

The Cardiff Festival is described as ‘a fusion of artistic, musical and cultural events that take place throughout the city during the summer months’. They draw big audiences to a huge array of events, and dressing the streets and city buildings is one way in which the city really plays its part in creating a colourful, memorable and popular occasion.

 

2010 was the City’s 25th Festival, and Genesis played a big role in promoting that fact. We not only branded up the main event areas and local streets. We were also tasked with adorning a 25m water tower. No small task when you realise the adhesive poster has to withstand extremes of heat and cold, water and wind… and still stay looking good several months later. But no problem for Genesis.

 

So, once again, we advised on the materials and production of the dressings – as well as printing and installing them… then taking them down after the last event had finished.
